3A molecular sieve
3A molecular sieve is an alkali metal aluminosilicate, also known as 3A zeolite molecular sieve. Its chemical formula is K2O·Na2O·Al2O3·SiO2·H2O, with a pore size of about 3 angstroms (1 angstrom = 0.1 nanometers). It is mainly used to adsorb water and does not adsorb any molecules with a diameter greater than 3 angstroms.

Main parameter:
Diameter(mesh): 8*12 ; 4*8
Static adsorbed water(≥ %wt): 20; 20
Adsorption of ethylene(≥ mg/g):3.0; 3.0
Bulk density(≥ g/ml): 0.68; 0.68
Compressive strength(≥ N): 30 ; 75
Abrasion ratio(≤ %wt): 0.1; 0.1
Residual moisture content(≤ %wt): 1.5; 1.5
Chemical properties and structure:
3A molecular sieve has a cubic lattice structure, mainly composed of silicon and aluminum connected by oxygen bridges to form an open skeleton structure, with many pores with uniform pore sizes and cavities with large internal surface areas. Its skeleton structure remains unchanged after losing water molecules by heating, forming many cavities of the same size, which are connected by micropores and have the function of "screening" molecules, so it is called a molecular sieve.
Application areas:
3A molecular sieve has a wide range of applications in industry, mainly used to adsorb water, and does not adsorb any molecules with a diameter greater than 3 angstroms. Specific applications include:
Petrochemical industry: used for drying petroleum cracking gas, olefins, refinery gas and oilfield gas;
Chemical industry: used as desiccant in chemical, pharmaceutical, insulating glass and other industries;
Gas drying: used for drying nitrogen-hydrogen mixed gas, refrigerant, etc.;
Liquid drying: used for drying ethanol and other polar liquids.
